About the workshop

Hassina Khan makes work which interprets the colours and forms that surround us in nature and recreates them in glass. Her journey to stained glass was long and diverse, officially a professional stage manager and prop maker she toyed with many different media before discovering glass. She now works both a limited colour palette and similar forms to make semi-naturalistic stylised pieces for sale and to commission.

She is currently studying for the MA in Visual Practice: Glass at the University of Sunderland / National Glass Centre and was recently awarded a Mike Davis Innovation Scholarship.
